Will July Fourth be boom or bust for businesses?

Kennesaw State University’s Randy Stuart sees a potential ray of hope through a gloomy Fourth of July economic forecast for seasonal businesses.

“Just like the surprise increase in retail sales in May, it seems that people are anxious to get out and start spending again – which could bode well for Fourth of July activities/spending,” said Stuart, an associate professor of marketing and professional sales in the Coles College of Business.
